Oh My Gosh! I drove the car to work this morning and the increased down force is phenomenal. My lap times should really drop now!!!!!!
Just kidding. I did the high wing for aesthetics only. I'm not a fan of the two tone, or contrasting black, color. So I'm doing body color everything. Body color front spoiler is next. I'm also not a fan of the half wing, half spoiler of the Z51. Warning, the high rear wing blocks the rear view mirror even more. But what's behind you doesn't matter! A line from Cannonball.
I actually like the standard, five split spoke wheels. Way better than the snowflake wheels. And I don't like black wheels. I may have these chrome plated.

I bought a black C8 because I don't like contrast of the carbon flash bits against a different color paint, for the exact same reason you painted yours. Yours is not my cup of tea, but I think that's more of a function of "I'm not a fan of that color" than it is that "I don't like it". As long as you are happy, that's all that matters.

OK, here are the mud flaps (behind the wheels) added to C3 Corvettes. One of the best mods made to the C3 body. Also, I live in Cali. We need mud flaps to negate the sandblasting the side of the car. My C6 really needed it.
