[QUOTE=DRock9;1603793452]Please point me to the C7's that were sold for a $25k markup going into the third model year. Oh that's right, you can't. I was in the market for a Z51 C7 and MacMulkin was offering HEAVY discounts at this point in its lifecycle. You are comparing apples and oranges my friend. The C8 is a different animal, having owned mine for a year I could sell it right now and PROFIT $15k. I mean people are already routinely paying $115-120k for the normal C8, you are delusional if you think the Z06 won't be selling for $150k+ for a while after it is launched.
I think the Z06 is gonna sticker close to $150k so I don't know what your point is there. All Im saying is sales with a big mark ups are going to be few, very few, compared to sales at list. And please point me to the guy who said C7's were selling $25k markup in the 3rd model year. We will call him delusional together.

in the fyi category, contacted dave 4 aug with same question. this was his response ...
I'm sure we'll get the launch date the same time it's announced to the public. As far as us taking deposits, we may do it before the launch, maybe next month. We'll be sending out an email with details once we are sure. Stay tuned!

Based on the # of Z06s they are allocated annually, you are probably looking at a 2025, unless they have a very large number of folks ahead of you back out.

I'm not in hurry, so either a '23 or '24 Z06 would be okay with me.
I'm on their Stingray list, so I'll have a 2022 until I get the Z06.
I been on a list for 3 years number 1 & should get 1st round at local dealer who delivered my C8 in June of 2020. What makes this such a S show is all the flippers just looking to make a quick buck and putting their names on many list.. They are only buying the car hoping to gain 30k plus on a flip. Unfortunately this just raises prices in the market, covid, chip, parts shortages is causing lower production of the C8 which is keeping values very high. Kia is getting 10k plus over on some of their hot SUV’s because of low availability it’s a crazy world we live in now.

That plays a huge roll. Its happening everywhere for everything. If something is considered remotely hot, resellers jump on it right away. Its beyond annoying. Social media has had a big impact on this. People needing to show off their latest and greatest.

Yes, housing is under attack by big corporations like Zillow, they are buying up homes now too it’s crazy. These companies are part of the increased prices in the markets.
I have the Lotus Emira manual on a list, I am 2 spot at a local dealer. I figured a Z06 and a manual Lotus will be the best of both worlds.. Lotus is asking ever dealer to give them the driver license with proof of 2500 deposits for everyone who is on the list. Per Lotus It’s 1 car per household and license number, it’s to squeeze out the flippers and the shenanigans that occur in the sports car market. Smaller companies can do this but I do respect the process. Ferrari has a system too, if you get a new one from a dealer and flip it to make a profit you won’t be on any Dealer Ferrari lists again. They ask their customers to sell the car back to the Ferrari dealer which keeps them in circulation for new preowned buyers.
Hi improviz, I accept Dave's usual stance concerning time frame to sign up for the ZO6. That is Kerbeck's now Ciocca SOP. However, I haven't heard his position on selling at MSRP. Have you heard anything?
Bit of an odd question. I'm on the MM list but waaaaay down. Possibly not even snagging a 2026 MY. I'd like to get on the Kerbeck list when it opens, but I'd want to be in a 2025/2026 MY with all the kinks worked out. How would I best go about doing that? Wait until a day or two after they start taking deposits and watch numbers trends on here? It may be a moot point as the old customers might just so happen to get hundreds of the priority spots, but I thought it would throw it out there.

Haven't heard anything and that's a very good question considering the change of ownership...my understanding is that they always have done so in the past, hopefully this will continue to be the case with the new owners!!
Called in to them today. Was told there is no such thing as getting on a list to get an email notification on when they will accepted deposits. Instead, I was told their public announcement is going to be made on their web page and I would just need to keep looking.
I kindly informed the gentlemen last time I called in I was told they wouldn’t take deposits till GM made a formal announcement acknowledging the car was “actually real”. So I asked, now that GM confirmed the car is real and will be unveiled on the 26th; does that mean the list could come at any time or will it come on/after the 26th? In response I was told it’s up to the owner.
Not bashing them in any way as Kerbeck always got great reviews and all the staff is still there from what I’m told. This is just feels like it had the recipe to be a cluster with so many people all trying the same day instead of other lists that were more of a trickle in effect.
I’ll be interested to see how they rank the list such as snail mail checks vs wire transfers vs emails etc…
fingers crossed! Cause at this point I’d be model year 4 on MM’s list lol
this is what will happen.. most dealers have long lists... they will wait after the revile which will make national stiffies and uncontrollable Testosterone imbalance. People will call, run, scream looking for a Z06 and BAM.. They will roll out with an ad stating they have 400 allocations for this year and you can be one for + $50,000 and your left ********..
Yeah, honestly I am not thrilled with the way they're doing it, Ticketmaster-style. The car's gonna be released for sure, so why wait? Maybe they're trying to save some paperwork from people who don't like specs at announcement bailing? Only thing I can think of, but people are gonna drop off for a myriad of other reasons, so doubt it's saving them anything.
From what Dave at Ciocca told me via email a week or so ago, this is the way they have always done their list. They don't take orders/deposits until the car is officially announced and pricing is released. Also said they may open it early, but it will be closer to the actual reveal.
I'm glad they are doing it this way... as I'm way late to the party and its my only real shot at getting a decent spot on any dealers list lol
I am very concerned about the issue of ADM from Ciocca. It would appear to me Dave (maybe he has been told by the owner to not disclose ADM yet) is avoiding the question of whether the Z06 will be at MSRP. I am concerned with the new owner. From stories I have heard from their Mercedes store WATCH OUT! I am betting with a 80% certainty that Ciocca will have an ADM significantly over MSRP for the Z06.

Yeah I asked my Kerbeck sales rep by text and email several times if they’re selling the Z06 at MSRP with no response. I then called today and talked to a different sales rep and was told he didn’t know, it’s up to Mr. Ciocca. Not very reassuring but I guess we’ll know when they send out the email with the details that state if it’s at MSRP or not.
