Default New "mostly all red" interior option?

Well well…

————————-
Could be Morello, but appears to be a new "Adrenaline Red" interior for the Z and notice black over the cluster so maybe they're taking the glare feedback seriously.

Yeah .... dipped interiors seam quite common. Would you rather they come with just the standard boring GM grey interior? The red/white interior in my C3 is one of the things I like about it. Something different than every other sedan/minivan out there.

I think they need to get rid of the “dipped” interiors, there’s just too much color in such a small space. Red visors, red carpet need to go. I don’t think it looked good in the ‘80’s & 90’s, and still doesn’t. Do any other high-performance cars do the same?

I absolutely LOVE the dipped look. But not fond of either of the two colors. So yeah a dipped adrenaline red interior would excite me.

Maybe the sun doesn’t work the same in those high end cars, and you only get reflections of the dash in plebeian cars like the Corvette.

Just not a fan, guess I'm a less is more person when it comes to interiors. Nice contrast stitching and strategically placed accent color pieces, to me, look a whole lot better than throwing up color everywhere.

Love the dipped interiors. Anything but black. So boring.

Yes, and deviated colored carpets etc. also help.

Dipped interior is a perfect look. Hate when they cheap out and have black pieces with a colored interior

To me it also looks like the wall of buttons is gone. We may be seeing the 2023 interior refresh too. The shape of the top of the dash and how black and red come together just looks different.

I tried to find a comparable angle. I don't think we can tell as the key elements are still there on the dash. I think the difference is the airbag section on the passenger side is solid red alcantara and doesn't have the stitching. The dash near the windshield is still black because it's actually a speaker grill type of material.

If that's the wall it's definitely lower. What I'm seeing is you see much more of the side of the screen.

I noticed that... but it could be the angle of the picture being different. That said, it wouldn't surprise me to see them lower it a bit.

Pretty sure it’s just the angle. While it looks close, it’s really not. Look at the difference in the horizontal aluminum trim piece on the passenger dash between the two pictures. .

I could be wrong but after watching the videos I still think there's a change to the center stack and dash. We'll know in about a month unless they hide the interior when they reveal the Z06. They delayed the original ZR-1 by a year for a new interior, they can do it again.

No it's not. The center point of the spy shot is above the roof line the center point of the camera on the media pic is top of the steering wheel. The people who actually own the C8 don't complain about the wall because they know it's not big in reality and it's very ergonomic. It's only the looky-lou's and magazine repeaters that don't like it. It's honestly one of the best things GM has done by making something their own design and it functions really well. Plus it's not going anywhere because you can't fit the buttons any where else without a complete interior redesign.

Generic statement. I know two C8 owners who really dislike it.

And plenty of examples in this thread alone that show how the buttons can be redone without a complete redesign.

You are wrong. I have a 2020 C8 HTC and I have to cry myself to sleep each night because "the wall" is so heinous I can't drive it, to even take it to a dealer to sell it for over list..........

Oh, wait, I have over 10,000 miles on my car and my only complaint about the wall is that it isnot tall enough. My wife can still manage to reach over and change the audio. That is just wrong, everyone knows that the driver gets to control the music!

I know 200 that like it including myself. Dumb statement you proved my point you don't own it and are making a second hand statement. I'm sure a few owners don't like it and that's ok. Some dont like the rear, some don't like black rims etc....
