Default C8 tracker and Z07 builds being produced in 2024

From looking at these numbers, it appears that at least some Z07 package cars are being made in the 2024 model year. Is there still anticipated to be a long running constraint in 2024 for Z07, or what is the latest forecast?

I'm next up to order at my dealer at MSRP but no Z07 available. I also have access off-list to a 2023 w/ Z07 for $30k over. Trying to decide between ordering the non-Z07, waiting and letting someone ahead of me for a base car, or just buy the 2023 at lower price + $5k points but $30k over msrp.

2023 (Nov '22 > Nov '23)
Standard Z06's Built = 4,822
70th Anniversary Z06's Built = 940
Total Z07's Built = 1,567
Total Selling Dealers = 2,028

2024: (Oct '23 > Nov '24)
Total Z06's Built = 1,380
Total with Z07 Built = 9
Total Selling Dealers = 820

Looks like less than 1% Z07 for 2024 so far. And it appears the forecast is not much better for all the information I have seen. Obviously only you can decide but if I were you I would buy the 23 for $30k over--If you "must have" the Z07. I came from a C8 Stingray to own 2 '23 Z06s (one is Z07). And if you have the funds you will not be disappointed with the Z07. I track both Z06s almost exclusively and if you want a Z07 you should buy it as the forecast looks "not so good" for future Z07 production. Just my 2 cents.

I think Z07 is expected to be a constraint for the entire model year, just the percentage of availability might change month to month. In recent ordering cycles there was 0% availability. The Z07's being built now were ordered back in July or August.

I think things will only get worse when the ZR1 starts production since it looks like the Z07 style aero will be an option on those cars (or standard, with the massive wing as a option). By that is probably a MY25 model.

I think they're finishing those orders out in the 2023 model though - these latest numbers are 2024 MY

ZR1 may be pretty small production, but agree they might both need those parts

WTF is going on? Can they really not find a reliable supplier for Z07 aero after all this time?

I was lucky and ordered my Z07 in July, thankfully have a TPW for end of this month, but it could get moved at any time. I expect to take delivery at the end of 2023. Glad I held out, but I also realize how lucky I am to get an allocation at a midsize dealer, that only sold 2 Z06s for MY2023.

I decided to buy the available 2023 Z07 over msrp.

The way things are going I had no confidence I could get one in the next 2 years even at my top 50 dealer since the few remaining list folks above me also all want Z07.

Chevy really dropped the ball on this, it's ridiculous.

1% of all 2024 Z06's is actually their top performance package? They should be embarrassed.

Default Wait is over

Hated paying 7K over MSRP but found a dealer who wanted to unload their new Z07 by year-end and luckily, they accepted my offer. Is this still a bad deal?

Why dont' they simply make the Z07 more produceable? The aero package doesn't have to be carbon fiber. Just make it out of fiberglass or some like equivalent. The difference in weight will be hardly measurable, especially when you consider the weight of the car. If they want to save weight, replace the lead acid battery with a Li ion battery.

If you got what you wanted? It's a great deal!! You will not be sorry. I paid over for a white, 70th, Z06, Z07 visable carbon and never looked back!! Love the car! I'm 81, more fun than sex at my age. LOL! Enjoy the car. JD

The amount of load/downforce requires the strength of carbon

Somehow I seriously doubt this.
