AWE Exhaust Surprise Questions
My son surprised me and an AWE exhaust system for my ZO6 was delivered to my home today.
Now what to I do?
What’s involved get it installed.
Does it void my drivetrain warranty? I have 600 miles on the car.
is this system worth the effort?

AWE systems are top notch, but the juice isn't worth the squeeze on the LT6 IMO...You have an awesome son though!

I had a full AWE system on my previous car (2016 Camaro SS) and sounded absolutely perfect. I would no doubt buy from them again. However, I think our Z's sound fantastic out of the gate? I'm curious as well how the differences in sound from stock to AWE.

Most important thing - take a before/after video comparing the exhausts so that we can hear the difference!

I’m probably not installing it.
just don’t think it’s worth taking the rear of the car apart etc to gain 14 hp and the sound is the same.
At least that’s what I’m hearing.

Agreed, it already has plenty of power for anyone with a brain and if it sounded like a Prius it would need an exhaust. I'm still not sure how they passed legality with the stock one. Great son BTW.
