Default Soler Performance TC installed on my C8Z

After 3 months and 2500 miles of ownership on my '24 Z06, I decided to get a Soler unit. Install was pretty straight forward. You insert it at the gas pedal connection. Snaking the wire and mounting the unit was easy. Once installed I started the car and had a check engine light come on. My OBDII reader showed me two throttle position sensor codes which I deleted. Restarted the car and CEL gone. I set the TC to Sport 5 and right from the start out of my driveway, the response was immediate. Car just wanted to go as I applied throttle input. Much better than stock. This mod does not increase power but simply opens the throttle butterflies quicker via applying more voltage to the throttle bodies. To me it was worth the $207 from Paragon Performance. They had free shipping and no tax. Cheaper than buying from Soler direct.

I have one in my c7 which I love. I wonder though, does the car tune this mod out over time?

Is there a feature where you can set the throttle to basically 0% for anti-theft purposes?

Did you upgrade to the ported throttle bodied or are you running OEM?

I have one, but set it less aggressive than Sport 5. Very good mod.

No. For example, it's not modifying airflow that might be compensated for in the tune through the LTRIMs.

I have had the controller on for about 120 miles and hell ya its definitely causing lower mpgs and excessive smiles.

I think I was at 8 mpg for the drive home and some fun road drives after the install.

Default Lock Feature for Soler Performance TC

Yes, there is. There is a feature called "Lock" which allows you to turn the car on but does not allow any throttle response. It is controlled only via Bluetooth. And also has a valet mode the higher the setting the less throttle response you get.
You can use the code SALE5P if you are interested.

Glad you are loving our Throttle Controller. To answer your question about if the car tunes it out over time. No, it does not, it is completely independent from anything else.

It doesn't, although the effect is most people drive a little more aggressively, which in turn causes more fuel usage. They do include an efficiency profile that slows down the throttle response. If someone wanted their car to feel like a Prius, they might be able to squeeze a little better in-town mileage from the car. However, a pitchfork mob might descend upon your home and demand you sell the car if you did this.

I am definitely interested since i don't really want to mod this car at all, but i would consider this for anti-theft purposes.

How long is the code good for? I need to think about it a little bit.

Also if a dealer does notice this, zero chance of any warranty issues?

I run mine on SP3 all the time. Huge improvement in feel for the Z.

Looking forward to doing their throttle bodies next.

This code is good until the end of the month but I can always get you another one.
Completely warranty safe. You can also remove the display, hide the wires, and control it strictly from your phone.

I have used Soler TC's several times over the years including installed on my current C8 Z06 and as I said in my initial review (last year) I think this is absolutely the best bang for the buck you can do for the new Z platform.
