Default It’s been a blur… anyone recognize this build signature

The last 24 - 48 hours have been a blur. On Monday my Z06 was waiting to be released to ship, then it shipped, and my dealer was calling me with real time updates on its way up.

I’ll do something more official later, but Wow. Just Wow. Dealer came through and stuck to their word on a MSRP deal. No funny business about must buy financing or warranties. Here’s a few shots before I take the long way to work!

Through the window I can’t quite make out the name of the engine builder. Does anyone recognize this signature? I looked at past build plaques and didn’t see a match.

Congratuations! Beautiful machine. Enjoy the long drive to work

What brand lift do you have? Looks nice in that the garage door clears it.

Thank you! The lift is a "Backyard Buddy". Very happy with it, but shes got to be pushing 15+ years old. I preferred their saftey mechanism to others (solid square collar rides along a square post as opposed to a wheel riding inside a "C" post). When I installed it, I had to have the garage door track moved tighter to the ceiling to clear. With my SUV up, it clears the radio fin by about 1/2". But their guidance is the height of the two vehicles combined +6" as their safety mechanism requires it to raise before it can lower.

That's beautiful but if I had that color I might as well just start writing the state some big checks and send them in weekly. See that $hit from Space!

Fingers crossed. I admit a little cautious optimism with each mile. So far feels solid, no unusual ticking and surpsingly torquey considering I’m limited on RPM’s during break-in.

Yep. Hadn’t purchased from them since 2001 but they were great.

Congrats! It seems to me that you got it quick! I'm sure it didn't seem like to you though, great looking Z06!

50 days from placing order / deposit / pre-trading my ‘22 to delivery! Crazy. Yes, it absolutely felt longer but no complaints. I know many have been on lists for years.

Very nice. Great to see a good pix of the glass over the engine intakes. Red intake and the appearance feature are already in my Z06 HTC build....love seeing it in your pix.

QUESTION from a current z51 coupe owner: how do you get the rear canopy to stay in the raised position like you show in the pix? can you do it via the activation switch on the remote or in the car, or do you have to kill the ignition via the START/STOP switch?

thanks....

That would be me. I placed my deposit in October 20 of 2021 and took delivery on May 11 of 2024.

That was a long wait!

I guess I technically put down a deposit with Les Stanford back in the Spring of ‘22, but kinda feel I forfeited that claim when I canceled my deposit last Fall for a multitude of reasons…one of which I was not going to see a Z06 anytime soon. I think I was #258 and they were getting approx 70 Z06 a year, so I might have seen a 2025 or 2026?

You can open and close the service hatch with the Fob
