Default Picked up my new Z06 this weekend! (&GM no longer offers DCT filter in free service)

Coming from a 2023 Stingray 3lT Z51 that I ordered and took Museum delivery of. Absolutely loved the car, but coming from three previous Z06's prior to that, the wide body C8Z really grew on me. My new Z06/Z07 rolled off the line on 4 June and was just getting off the trailer on the morning of last Thursday the 13th, when I inquired about it. It was available and I got a really good price for my Stingray, so I rolled up to the dealer three hours away Saturday morning, and bought it. What an amazing father's day present! Absolutely amazing!

When I was signing all of the dealer's papers, I was given a GM form to sign (in addition to the agreement not to sell for at least 6 months,) acknowledging the details of the first free maintenance. As I was signing it, my sales guy said "wait a minute, that's the old form," and gave me another form to sign, instead. Both were labeled MY24 Corvette, but the 2nd form he gave me specifically did not have the DCT filter change in it. When did GM stop doing this, I wonder? From what I understand, I still want to change my DCT filter at around the 3.5k mile mark and then again, the DCT filter at 7,500 miles.

I've never been given a form to sign regarding the first service appointment.

If you go to my.chevrolet.com and view the warranties for your vehicle, you'll see one that lists "Chevrolet - First Maintenance Visit". This doesn't mention what is included or excluded, but the first maintenance visit that is scheduled for your Corvette is at 7,500 miles and it includes BOTH an oil change and a DCT filter change. It would be strange to have a first maintenance visit not actually cover the first maintanenance.

First service is still free.... oil/filter and DCT filter. If done early, must be done again at 7,500 miles. Per Josh holder you are allowed to DIY and not beholden to dealer for "pre-flush" routine.

Looking at the official website though, it clearly states the covered maintenance only includes oil + multi point inspection for Corvette https://www.chevrolet.com/complete-care

Surprised they snuck that in mid-year. I could see them doing it for MY2025 as a hidden price increase.

Warranty booklet implies the DCT filter should be covered as they cover filters to 7500 miles.

Here it is. The first version of this document that I began to sign literally had a 3rd bullet for DCT filter change. My sales guy stopped me and said, "oh wait, there is an updated version of that form." When he handed the updated version to me, I immediately noticed the DCT filter change was conveniently omitted. Good one, GM.

Something is not right here, I suspect someone made a mistake on the form somewhere...

In April (the date of the revised form there), GM published to dealers that the oil change and the DCT filter were going to be allowed in separate services, with 3 years allowed on the DCT filter. So, GM made the plan better (not worse) for 2024 owners allowing them to do the first oil change free, and giving another year to get to 7,500 miles for the DCT filter. Thread started by one of our forum vendors on it https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...on-filter.html

So, either the form is wrong, or the communication to the dealership in April is wrong.
I don't have any first had knowledge obviously, but I suspect they separated the DCT and oil change on the form (since they can now be done separately and have different expiry dates), and on this version someone forgot to note the DCT change (and you can see another error as the footnote for the oil change talks about the DCT change, which would make no sense otherwise).

I hope that is the case! I'd particularly like to get the first DCT filter out of there before the 2 year mark when I maybe only have 3k miles or so, and then I'll do it again on my dime from there on, beginning at 7.5k miles.
