Default Captain's Log; Stardate 071122 - Barbados

I needed a rest by this time. I think I over did it at the gym the day before so I decided to hop a cab into town and hit the internet cafe. Sorry folks no pics as I just wanted to check @mail, chat on MSN with some friends and get back to the ship and chill out. I remembered Bonnie's trip with Nathalie on her 16th birthday cruise. The internet cafes were amazing with Eric and me in Myrtle Beach playing golf and Bonnie and Nathalie somewhere in the Caribbeans. We would chat on MSN and share photos of our trips in near real time. I have to admit that "I AM A TECHNOGEEK"

Default Captain's Log; Stardate 071123 - Seaday (Going Home)

Sadly all fun things eventually come to an end. We spent this last day at sea so the ships directors were quit busy to ensure that we were all well entertained and well fed

The lyrics from Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville

Nibblin' on sponge cake,
watchin' the sun bake;
All of those tourists covered with oil.
Strummin' my six string on my front porch swing.
Smell those shrimp
They're beginnin' to boil.

Wasted away again in Margaritaville,
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame,
But I know it's nobody's fault.

Don't know the reason,
Stayed here all season
With nothing to show but this brand new tattoo.
But it's a real beauty,
A Mexican cutie, how it got here
I haven't a clue.

Wasted away again in Margaritaville,
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame,
Now I think, - hell it could be my fault.

I blew out my flip flop,
Stepped on a pop top,
Cut my heel, had to cruise on back home.
But there's booze in the blender,
And soon it will render
That frozen concoction that helps me hang on.

Wasted away again in Margaritaville
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame,
But I know, it's my own damn fault.
Yes, and some people claim that there's a woman to blame
And I know it's my own damn fault.

...and the band played on...

"all of those tourists covered in oil..."

Some things guys should NEVER do when in the Carri beans - Hair braiding!!

Trying to find the perfect sunset shot...

So I am officially back since Saturday C-O-L-D reality has set in. Back to looking to getting a job. I hope you enjoyed as much as I have.

Thanks again Pierre for the ray of sunshine in this cold damp weather.

Now you need to find a new source of revenue so we can all enjoy your next vacation.
Good Luck buddy.

Default Casualties of the trip

Oh one final thing. there was a casualty from the trip - my brand new ultra-light laptop...

I think I may have had one too many mojitos and I didn't notice my brand spanking new ultra-light Sony Vaio, quietly slip off the chair I placed it on and cracked the case open. Not a good thing considering. All in all, Sony charged me $140 to repair and replace the broken damages.

Word to the wise. If you intend to bring your laptop on board, never drink and process data - it never works out
