Default This Thing Is AWESOME!

Wash, rinse and walk away. No water Spots. It works, it really works!

Best thing I've bought from Costco.

Thanks

As I said it is totally awesome. I've been fighting water spots since I began to drive. After I rinsed and let the car dry, I could not find a water spot anywhere. None on the paint, none on the glass, none on the Chrome wheels. If you buy it direct from the vendor it is $449, but if you get it from Costco it is $419 and comes with 2 hoses and two refills which means you can wash you car about 80 times b4 you have to fork out $195 for a drum of resin that is enough for about 120 more spot free washes. That's about $1.60/Spot Free Wash. I have a 40' Motorhome that up until now was impossible to wash without water spots because just can't towel dry something 12 feet high fast enough. I'd always have to spend another 1 1/2 hrs buffing out the WS. I'm not trying to promote this product and am not affiliated in any way with the Mfg. I just wanted to pass along the good news. I've tried the Mr. Clean thing and found that it sometimes left behind soap residue so I still had to wipe down the car.

You have to order it from Costco online. It's in the automotive section and is called CRSpotless Water De-ionizer

Cool. Bet it doesn't work so hot on black. Mr. Clean is better than nothing, but it'll still spot on black if you don't towel dry.

Anybody care to comment who's tried it on black??

According to my math, Mr. Clean is about $2.20/ wash vs 1.60 and you can use Dawn detergent if you want to. Mr C has to have their proprietary soap.

Works great. Got one directly from CRSpotless.com a couple of years ago. Used it on my black DD and there were no (NO) water spots at all. Sad to see the price has gone up quite a bit since then..but the "cart" it's on looks a ton better than the one I have.

I used to have a link to a site with directions as well on how to rejuvinate the resin cartridges with a salt rock bath (from the pool store I believe). My wife was nice enough to accidentally reload windows though, erasing all our favorites in the process and all... so i'll have to search around for it again. Never did try it as I hadn't needed it yet.

Found the link. As I said...haven't tried it, but plan to before shelling out for new resin cartridges...

I have the Mr. Clean gizmo -- works pretty well but unit itself is a large, heavy and clunky design nightmare. But it doesn't cost much, either.
