Default Best OUTDOOR Car Cover

Title says it all. What is the best outdoor car cover: Waterproof, Protect ability, Durability.

I was looking at this:
http://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=1179

or this:
http://www.corvettemods.com/1963-Cur...er_p_6270.html

Please list any others with links if not too much trouble.
Thanks,
Craig

Covercraft makes the best covers, and Noah and Weathershield are most often offered. Noah is heavier and harder to travel with, the Weathershield is quite mobile.

I use a Covercraft NOAH for my C5 Z06. It fits perfectly! It's very snug around all 4 corners and it covers the car extremely well, leaving an inch or so of the tires exposed. I don't wash my car for months because the cover keeps it extremely clean. I just dust it off and give it a quick detail every once in a while.

Well worth the investment if you don't have a garage.

Thread resurrection alert due to using the search function, but with the seasons changing it seemed appropriate. I figure a number of folks here will be shopping covers soon (if not already)!

Just ordered the Noah as well from AutoAnything and will post up my impressions. Kinda felt bad that I didn't research sponsors before ordering but was pleasantly surprised that I screwed up and supported a forum sponsor after all! Even an old blind squirrel gets a nut sometimes...

With that, they even offered a "military" discount via their CS chat which I appreciated!

Thanks Allen, the Noah is one of our best sellers!

Great timing too, I was just about to post our research guide to car covers. VERY helpful and gives some great insight into everything you wanted to know about protecting your vette.

I agree that a car cover is a great way of protecting your car, but only in your garage and used when your car is 100% clean. Using one outdoors is asking for trouble in my opinion. If you are looking for a great way to safely protect your car while storing it outside, I suggest using a quality sealant. You might think that you are doing your car a favor my putting it under a cover, but there are way too many uncontrollable variables that can lead to paint damage.

I use the Covercraft "Stormproof" cover on my Vette. It's custom fit to each car, and has a nice snug fit so that it doesn't shift around as the wind blows. It works great and my car comes out looking perfectly clean after a week or two of rain storms.

I'll echo what others have said though - only put it on your car if it's completely clean, otherwise just leave it uncovered. Mine only goes on immediately following a wash and dry. I use it when I go out of town or if I've just washed the car and the forecast is rain for a few days.
