Default [St. Louis] If you need a tuner and a dyno.....

Need to see Joe Donovan. He has a shop in South St. Louis called P.B.J (Performance By Joe). Let me tell, this guy takes his time and tries to get the best tune possible. I was there from 9am to around 3pm. He was able to gain upto 30 more RWHP under the curve by the 14th dyno pull. He does not go by how much time he has in it, but whats the BEST he can get I only gained 3rwhp and 20rwtq on PEAK, but down low at 4100rpms it was at 281hp/360tq, AFTER it was 313hp/401tq . The cars pulls alot harder then before, matter of fact, I have 400rwtq from 3900rpms-5400rpms.
Again if you guys are in need, you have to use this guy.
His address is:
3443 Hampton Ave.
St. louis, MO 63139
#314-781-3135
or
www.performancebyjoe.com

BTW its $350 for tuning

Thanks for the info. A friend called me the other day looking for someone who does that kind of work. I will pass this info to him.

We need somebody in the st. louis area who can do some dyno-tuning on C5 vettes. Has anybody else heard of this guy or used him???
Does he have much experience with corvettes??
Anthony, I assume he uses LS-1 edit?

If anybody has any other info, that would be great.

Im a little skeptical.
You have a Magnuson supercharger on your car, and all you laid
down was 313 hp at the wheels???

I believe that was at 4100 rpm's.

but down low at 4100rpms it was at 281hp/360tq, AFTER it was 313hp/401tq .
Or at least that's how I read it.

Good point 96collector
I guess I read through the thread too quickly.
I was gonna say, I know nothing about tuning, but I bet I could
squeeze 300 horsepower out of a supercharged C5 .
Hope others have used this guy,
would love to have some other feedback.

Tuning an LS1 is tuning an LS1. He does Vipers, Vettes, F-bodys, and Mustangs.

He tuned my friends STS Camaro. 465hp to the wheels.

He uses HP Tuners.
