As the title says, any karting school fixes one can go to from time to time close to chicago land?

have you looked at chicago indoor racing?? i dont think they have instructors, but its a nice facility and close to chicago.

Yes I have been there, its a lot of fun, but expensive if you want to make a lot of runs..but they have no adult school..

Hi,

Chicago Indoor Racing has two locations now. They have facilities located in Buffalo Grove and Addison. I highly recommend it.

If you want to go really fast (scary fast), call Jet Karting (http://www.jetkarting.com) and ask for Andy or Les. They own Concept Haulers Motorspeedway which is located in Sheridan, IL. The track is also referred to as "Norway" by racers who go there. They have a racing school where you can drive a 125cc TAG kart for $300 (price this past summer). If you mention my name, you can get it for $250.

Here's another vote for Jet Carting in Norway. Nice people out there, had a ball when my club had our own race there this past fall. The carts all run pretty close to the same speed, but driving skill can win races for you. Find a good line that works for you and stay with it, if you get sideways you slow down mighty fast. It usually takes about 1 lap to get the tires heated up enough where you can start pushing the limits a little. I think we should have a Chicago Crew outing there sometime this coming year.
