I have a friend with a C6 Leather Dash with the leather separating as in this picture. Has anyone here in Northern CA dealt with the C6 leather dash that's been bubbling up or having leather glue separating near the bottom of the windshield? How about anyone done a dash removal on a C6 here in NorCal at all? Let me know or PM me? Thanks
Ive removed a few c6 dashes. Its not that difficult. Can be done in a few hrs. There should be a how to on this site somewere. Start with center console and work your way from there. You could try to get a shop to fix it as finding a replacement is gonna be very difficult from what ive heard in the past.
If I try to use any kind of protectant on door panels like 303 it leaves white marks on door panels. What to use? Even the Zaino leather protectant leaves white marks on 2005 door panels.
This is a regular issue on the Ferrari forum because they come with leather dashboards. The cause is the sun shining on the dash. The prevention is using a sunshade when the car is parked in the sun. My favorite is the Ultimate Reflector from the California Car Cover company because it is a quality shade that folds open and closed easily.

I've pulled the dash as well. I would just replace it with a standard dashboard. Leather-covered dashboards from all manufacturers are prone to failure. It's the wrong material for the application.
Same problem on my C7, 3LT. Really bad. Was told to replace with an 2LT unit as that would not be leather. That said - Any referrals to someone who does this kind of work?
