C6 427 vert paint - color change

First off I did some searching first so I have a general idea what the costs can be. The reason I'm posting is because most threads are older cars needing fiberglass repair or some kind of bodywork in addition to paint.

I'm looking to do a color change to a different factory GM color on a 2013 C6 427 convertible that is already in great condition with no issues. I'm in the CA Bay Area so I know the prices here are higher than most.
I'm also a professional detailer for over 20 years and have a very sharp eye with paint/quality. I've seen many 6-figure paint jobs, and I'm not needing that, but I also know that a $10-15k job is going to leave me disappointed.

So for a newer car in exceptional shape with no issues, color change on a convertible C6, how much should I be looking at?

Truly not trying to be a smart aleck but maybe just get 2013 427 with the color you like?
The good thing if decide to repaint it could be scuffed and resprayed but the time/labor cost is removing all the parts that don't need paint. Also the under side of the hood. Then the engine compartment. Door jams. Trunk lid and on the inside.
You must find a paint shop that deals with late model Corvettes every day. I would never let a rookie take my hot rod apart.

The color I want is a GM color but not a C6 generation color

Yes, the door jams will need to be painted, but the under side of the hood, engine compartment and trunk are black on all color Vettes. (C6s)

to answer your original question, too many variables. location and who's doing the job, paint, including primers, sealers, etc - Restoration Shop materials or PPG. do you want a show car finish, or a daily driver repaint? you could be looking at a really cheap, maaco type job in the $500 range, to a higher end finish, where they pretty much take the car apart for more of a show car finish - i would guess that would be in the neighborhood of $20-$30K range. if i had to give you a number, i'd say $10K. for a decent, factory new car finish, color change, repaint at a reputable shop. others may disagree....
