Still sitting here waiting on parts...
i did have a chance to give it it's first wash with the ceramic coating... that stuff is super cool.
still waiting on coilovers and for my headers to be done at the ceramic coaters. I also need to get it through inspection before i start really changing things. I was supposed to do it today but it's pouring down rain and i just didn't want to bring the car out in that garbage.
Motor mounts, harmonic balancer, and bolt all came in. They'll go on when i tear it apart though.

I spoke with Aldan today. They said they are ramping up production. They are beginning a run tomorrow. So kits should be shipping out mid to late next week.

it looks like late next week I'm tearing the rack out for the harmonic balancer, and starting to tear the exhaust out my headers are supposed to be ready for pick up Friday.
I ordered an ecs tune today so I'll send my ECU on Tuesday after the car goes through emissions and inspection (figured do that while its stock) and then have at it lol.

FINALLY! some parts to put on lol.
picked up my ceramic coated heaters. These were done in "titanium" color. they're much better looking in the sun... not that you'll really ever see them. But whatever.
new motor mounts are in, harmonic balancer is in, and now that these are in i think this week (since the weather sucks) will be the week the car gets pulled in to start these installs.
Also, i got it through inspection today (with a fresh emissions sticker) so next year i'll be able to be exempt.

alright. well. it was 80 last night. so i took kiddo for a ride to get ice cream and then to the bank... and then tore it apart lol. Coilovers will be here on friday. I pulled the ECU and got that shipped off to ECS for a tune.
I also started on the upholstery.
original seats the foams needed a little love. wcc kit and some misc glue/tape to fix some worn foam and it's in good shape now. all together.
tonight i'm going to yank the headers and mid pipe off. and if i have time try and get the passenger seat out (can't open the door all the way with where the car is parked on the quickjack).

Got some work in last night
factory manifolds and mid pipe are out. Had to pull the motor mount on the drivers side... which is junk. No big deal i planned on swapping them anyway.
These should flow just a little better

Well I'm beat. Exhaust is all on. Coilovers are on and are set to the initial preload setting recommended in the instructions.
for the front leaf. With the bolts lowered all the way and uppers disconnected no way it was coming out. Could have pulled the lca but f it.
F this f45 soft leaf spring

i'm scheduled for an alignment tomorrow so hopefully my PCM gets here from ECS today.
I added another 1/4" of preload to the front coilovers. i think the ride height is about where i want it now.
also grabbed a couple corvette clips visor eliminators. They didn't fit 100% correctly (were loose) so i messaged the guy. dude was super cool. we talked for a bit and i guess there's a bunch of different sizes and mine was a weird one. I told him not to worry about it i'd just hot glue them in (which is what i did) and he insisted on refunding me 100%. I told him not to and just to hook me up on something some day and he refunded me anyway and told me to keep what he sent. Highly recommend the guy. just a good stand up dude.
