No, but it will be around the C7Z06. Its numbers will put the world on notice though!
Tell us the top speed!
No, again, it's not a numbers car. It's a track car.
Can you tell us the lap times?
No, it's not a numbers car.
Can you give us gearing that is track oriented?
Also, no. We are emphasizing highway fuel efficiency.
And here you have it. A car that’s 1/3 more expensive than promised, designed for the track that they won’t give lap times for with gearing for fuel economy.

206 and 3-4 miles, my guestimate since Tadge said the Z06 would be between the C6 ZR1 (205) and the C7 ZR1 (212), and Tadge is always right.

195 - fast enough. I can't forget the images of the Mercedes flying at Le Mans years ago. I wonder if that has ever happened in a road car? I am sure that it has just don't know of an incident.
The Mercedes took to the air at 186, but they were purpose built race cars that depended on significant downforce from diffusers but God help you if air gets between your car and the road surface and disturbs the downforce.

My C6Z with the ZR1 front splitter and the GM available low full width spoiler was comfortably stable when I did my 200+ MPH runs at the Mojave 1.5 mile trap speed event in April 2018 (N/A, HCI, 593 rwhp). Modern car aero is generally quite good.

Same with me, my 201.31mph run at the Johnny Bohmer Proving grounds in Titusville, FL in 2019, was with the standard 2011 Z07 aero (a la ZR1). I had no trouble whatsoever controlling the car all the way up to the top speed of 201mph. The car was flat and very stable.

Tadge has said the top speed of the base aero C8Z will be between the C6ZR1 (205) and the C7 ZR1 (212). Figure 206-208 until they release a number. The C7Z full Stage 3 aero was 6 MPH slower than the base narrow body C7.

Hope this turns out to be true, that would then validate it as a super car and make the low wing my choice. Thanks for clarifying AzDave.

Tadge has said multiple times that the Z06/Z07 is not meant to be a numbers car. It is the best track car that they could build within the design parameters that they must hit for a modern Z06.

Track is all about numbers. What are you talking about? Have you seen AP and how he talks about GT cars? Tadge just likes to show off. He is a salesman. He will sell you the brooklyn bridge.

Yes, we already have the London Bridge in Arizona. I agree that Tadge has not always been accurate, but I think the base Z top speed is accurate, but it will take 3-4 miles to get there, at least.
