Default Ticket or no ticket

Man, this car kind of fun... I am trying to avoid getting a ticket but few times there were triple digits on my HUD... Just for a few seconds though.
It's impossible not to have an ear to ear smile with that kind of acceleration and sound!

So anyone of you ever got a ticket?

No... I only drive like a bat-outta-hell on the Salt Flats, strongly recommending others only do so at appropriate venues.

California Vehicle Code 22348 VC imposes the penalties for driving over 100 miles per hour on a freeway. This offense is punished by up to $1000 in fines, two points on the person's driver's license, and a possible driver's license suspension.

I think I will let the flying to others!

I have a perm a grin every time I drive my corvette! Be careful there. I think in Ca. they can impound your car if going over 100 MPH.

No tickets (thanks, Uniden and Waze), but have seen triple digits on occasion while out on a long, straight road in the country.

There was a terrible accident here in MD on the 695 Baltimore beltway last week that I was stuck in. It was shut down on both directions. Everyone was detoured but once I finally got back on it I punched it. I was the only one on the road. I saw 135mph before I let off the go fast pedal. Car still had a lot of "let's go" left but maybe next time.

Triple digits always brings a smile to my face and having a Traffic Lawyer on speed dial does also.

Haven't had a ticket since 1988, but I have received two warnings since. Between the motorcycles, the C7 and a 430hp Audi, I find it too easy to cruise at illegal speeds if I'm not paying attention.

On the highways I use CC a lot, and respect urban speed limits. But back in the boonies on curvy secondary roads where there is little to no traffic, much less an LEO, that's where the magic happens.

Here in Texas there are a few 85mph speed limits meaning everyone does 95. That is enough fun for me outside of a closed course.

160 mph
Really easy to get there and back down to 75 on a lonely stretch of freeway

Haven’t seen triple digits for a long time - definitely do not want to get caught at those speeds.

Like most Z06 owners, I will occasionally make a quick blast over 100, but stay there only briefly. It's almost impossible to restrain myself; it's so intoxicating. But, I'm very careful when & where I do it; and don't want to create an unsafe situation for me or anyone else. So, no, I've never gotten a ticket.

In the Chicago area, it's not uncommon for people to drive 90 mph on the expressways in the left lane. At least 50% of the people drive 80 mph.

Surprisingly, I have some Corvette friends who take very long road trips together and cruise 90-120, but only out in the boonies.
They've been doing this for years without tickets.
Some combination of Waze/detectors/luck.

The chances of them getting caught are fairly small, but the consequences could be severe.
Take your choice...

I also have to repeat, I have seen more traffic enforcement in the Santa Barbara/Ventura area in the last two months than I have seen in the last two years.
