Default 2024 ZO6 Allocations

Hello,
I am new to the whole allocation/ordering process.
I contacted a dealer in Indiana and they claim to have a 2024 ZO6 allocation.
Is that even possible, I thought all the 2024 allocations were done?
Is there a way to verify that or are there questions I can ask them to verify what they are saying is true?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure this is the last round of 2024s this week. That said there have been a couple of "last rounds" already at the end of May and two weeks ago. I got my order in two weeks ago on one of these unexpected last round of 24 allocations. If it's a reputable dealer then they most likely have one if they say they have one for this week.

Roll with it. Its probably legit. The finish line keeps getting pushed out so whom knows when that will stop. Hope you get the options you want. Be sure to review constraints.

Correct on the constraints. Lots of colors not available(yellow, orange, ceramic matrix gray, hypersonic gray, carbon flash, silver, cacti). No high wings. No ground effects. Limited quantity on Carbon Ceramic Brakes. Limited quantity on black wheels. I think that's it for Z06 but who knows??

Yes, today starts the last order cycle for 2024 model year. Dealers have until Saturday to match and order up to a allocation they have been given. Along with the allocation, they know what model, colors & what options are not available to them, and what quantities are limited that is called constraints. Rick Conti a Corvette Saleman/Enthusist in Ohio has a YouTube channel and has a video out today describing the models and constraints nationally. You can watch somewhere around the 6:20 mark and get a better understanding:

Just went thru this with my Z06 order. Knowing you dealer know he has an allocation available is one thing, it's another to understand what model & options can be ordered with his specific allocation, If it matches with what you want and you put in your order by Saturday dealer needs to provide you a copy of their Workbench Order showing it is a sold order, at 1100 status, you have a GM 6 digit order number/letters AND their typicial dealer sales agreement form showing that they put it in against an allocation and what you are going to pay. 2nd, on Monday dealer should be able to give you a copy of their Workbench Order showing your status has moved from 1100 Order Submitted to 2000 status Order Accepted by Chevrolet. Hopefully this fills in some of the information gaps...

The contraints on nearly every good option make ordering a 2024 pointless...unless you don't mind a total bare bones Z06.

Actually, that's what just happened to me. I called wednesday about a z06, said I wanted a barebones z06 got an allocation with a build confirmation today--1 day later. MSRP. Was tired of dicking around with dealers about their E-rays. 3 deals fell thru because they all play too many games.

I think that depends on what you mean by bare-bones. I got an allocation 1 week after giving my name to my dealer, and the order was placed on 6/13. The NCM emailed me that it's scheduled to be built on 7/29.

I did not want Z07, and I most definitely did not want black wheels. I piled $16,500 of options on my 3LZ HTC, and I think it's a long way from bare-bones

But I would have ordered it even if half my options were on constraint. All I care about is hearing and feeling that incredible NA power plant behind my head, before it's gone, replaced/augmented by batteries, turbo/super chargers and who knows what else.

That car is never going to leave my hands :-)

I feel the same way. 3LZ HTC and added $24k in options including the expensive carbon brakes made the Z06 just about the way I wanted it. Getting an allocation from MM at the mid-600's on their wait list was a gift.

Silver Flare was discontinued and would have gone for that if available, but waiting for a '25 or more likely a '26 was not going to bring back Silver Flare. I was considering the $3,995 Visable CF Ground Effects however there are a lot of other good aftermarket options that do not have a bronzy look that GMs have. However, even if Gound Effects were available I would have not ordered because I was already $5k over my $150k budget. And, the budget probably would have been under even more pressure going forward with likely model year price increases. Z07 was out from the start because driving on the streets of the Pittsburgh area on those Cup 2R tires is insanity. So, for me I did not go "bare bones" and got everything I really wanted.

I too am going to keep this one as it's the last of its kind.

I do not consider a 3LZ HTC a bare bones Z06. I was able to get the car I wanted.
