What should I look for when choosing a shop to have new tires and wheels mounted? I'd like to minimize or eliminate rim scratches especially during the tire mounting procedure. Are there such places that utilize automated no-mar tire changers?

just had a set mounted the guy took care on the installation and I watched most of it. But still have a minor tool mark on one of the wheels. It came not from the machine but from the pry bar looking thing that they use to pry the tire down. I am not sure what else he could have done but there is definitely a ding on it, which is dissapointing

Look for a high volume shop that mounts lots of low profile tires.
These stiff sidewall, low profile tires are a real PITA to mount! let alone not putting a mark on a wheel....somewhere!
