Engine

This car is everything one could want from a restomod. The 1965 Corvette retains all of its classic appeal because the modern touches are subtle and tasteful. The previous owner deserves a lot of credit as this was an extremely detailed build. Propelling this beauty is a 6.2-liter LS3 powerplant. This particular car's specs aren't known, but we do know that a crate LS3 spits out 430 horsepower and 424 lb-ft of torque. So expect this car to burn rubber.

Convenience

Something that might put some people off owning a classic sports car is how it handles. Let's face it, technology has come a long way. Thankfully, this Corvette has been fitted with independent suspension with QA1 coilovers, so that should help when things get twisty.

Sound

Another concern that people have about owning a classic car is the lack of modern conveniences. That is not an issue here as this Corvette comes with power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes, and an R134A air conditioning system. So its new owner will have no excuse not to drive it.

When we talk about classic Corvettes and how they sound, it usually refers to the car's exhaust note. Not this time though, because this model comes with a modern AM/FM stereo with iPod connectivity. When it comes to stylish cars many folks consider restomods as the top of the heap.

Style

And this C2 is a shining example of a successful restomod. The Stinger hood with Silver accent striping and Deep Blue paint job is certainly attention-grabbing. Then, if you look inside, you will see the Billet Specialties 3-spoke steering wheel which will steal your gaze.

Wheels

While cars are often a treat for onlooker's eyes, the driver should also enjoy their view from behind the wheel, and they will, thanks to the Dakota gauges fitted on this model.  The wheels on this Corvette are so exquisite that they deserve their own mention. The previous owner fitted 17-inch Chrome US Mags wheels which embody this car's restomod image.
